Melvin Gilbert’s photography career began when his friends and family asked him to take pictures for them as a hobby. Realising that he had a great desire to further improve his photography, he looked around for opportunities and found his way shooting under several photographers. The internship had a profound effect on him, filling with him great inspiration and emotion. This was when he realised his calling to go out and capture those special moments that last a lifetime!
